Orange Tonic and Vodka

A refreshing alcoholic beverage I enjoy on occasion.

INGREDIENTS
6 ounces cold tonic water
2 ounces cold orange juice
1 ounce vodka
1 small orange such as a Clementine
1 tablespoon sugar (for rimming glass)
1 sprig mint (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS
Cut both ends off orange; set aside.
Slice the remainder of the orange into slices; set aside.
Slip one of the ends of the orange across the edge of a glass to dampen it.
Place the sugar in a small plate and invert the glass dipping the wet rim of the glass into the sugar.
Pour the vodka, orange juice and tonic water into the sugar rimmed glass.
Toss in the orange slices and top with a sprig of mint.
Enjoy in moderation.
